Dear Will and the gang, greetings from North York-shire, Ingurland.
I saw St Vincent and David Byrne at End of the Road festival in Devon last year. David Byrne would play a well know Talking Heads oldie and everyone would love it, then St Vincent would play one of hers and everything would go quite and people would politely applaud. This went on for the whole set. Bit odd really.
I also wanted to report a fine performance by Steve Malkmus at The Brudenell Social Club in Leeds last month. Most of the set was from the last two albums and don't think he played anything off his first solo album. Good support from Joanna Gruesome too.
